Sayings of...
Hazrat Inayat Khan
Love itself is the Healing Power and the Remedy for All Pain.
Love knows no Limits.
A great person is great with his faults and merits.
The eyes are two windows through which the soul looks out.
A sparkling soul flashes out through the eyes.
Beauty is Created out of Variety.
Life teaches one more than all the teachings in the world.
Sleep is comfortable but, waking is interesting.
What is given in love is beyond price.
There is nothing that is accidental; all situations in life work towards some definite end.
Before you can know the truth you must learn to live a true life.
Every moment of your life is more valuable than anything else in the world.
That person becomes conqueror of life who learns to control his tongue.
He is an unbeliever who cannot believe in himself.
Where the body goes the shadow goes also; so is truth followed by falsehood.
A diamond must be cut before its light can shine out.
As fire can cook food or burn it, so also does pain affect the human heart.
No one can be human and not make a mistake.
It is easy to become a teacher, but difficult to become a pupil.
Speaking wisdom is much easier than living it.
The more a man explores himself, the more power he finds within.
The wretched always look for some excuse to be miserable.
You must never joke with a fool; if you throw a flower at him, he will throw back a stone.
Man is pulled from four sides in life: by nature, circumstances, law, and the ideal.
If you fail yourself, everybody will fail you.
A real success is proved by its durability.
The Fitter the Instrument, the Greater the Satisfaction of Soul.

I know I am Centered when:
I am Balanced and Stable.
I am Breathing deeply from my belly.
I am relaxed, calm and aware, internally and externally.
I am appreciative of myself and others.
I am feeling my emotions - and learning from them.
I am compassionate and connected to others in my environment.
I am able to receive and give sincere acknowledgment.
I am energized by purpose.
I am bigger than my story.
I am unattached to the outcome of a situation.
I am having fun and laughing often.
-Thomas Crum
Kind Hearts are the Garden...
Kind thoughts are the roots...
Kind words are the blossoms...
Kind deeds are the fruits.
-Unknown
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
-Marianne Williamson
And the day came...
when the risk it took to remain a bud...
was greater than the risk it took to blossom.
-A. Nin
Can you coax your mind from its wandering
And keep to the original oneness?
Can you let your body become
Centered and Supple as a newborn child’s?
Can your cleanse your inner sight
Until you see nothing but the light?
Can you love people and lead them
Without imposing your will?
Can you deal with the most vital matters
By letting events take their course?
Can you step back from your own mind
And thus understand all things?
Giving birth and nourishing...
Having without possessing...
Acting with no expectations...
Leading and not trying to control...This is the supreme virtue.
-Lao Tzu #10
Wisdom of
Sri Gary Olsen...
Spirit will come in at whatever level you reside and speak to you and help you.
But...
we all know that the Lord helps those who help
themselves.
The entire purpose of soul's journey is learning to stand on your own two feet...
to experience your own
realization
come into your own divinity and
be able to live in the worlds of eternity
as your enlightened self.
The ultimate purpose of life becomes clearly a deeply intimate affair
because the transformation occurs inside your own precious body.
The true definition of a miracle is a lasting change in consciousness:
an ability to live life comfortably and truthfully in your own shoes
in your own identity
and
with boundless love for all life.
Eternal Qualities of Spirit:
Love,
Compassion,
Bliss,
Serenity,
Equilibrium,
The feeling of being guided and totally protected
and
the Right to Smile
and feel good with ourselves.
Everything that has come to you has done so with great purpose
divine meaning
and spiritual intent...
not to punish
but to teach a life lesson...
spiritual insight...
to reveal a greater truth.
No effort is wasted.
